Working on the pattern design, one thing was certain: no element could be random, every detail had to carry meaning. Each stroke, each curve was to whisper the story of Cilicia and its timeless history. We turned to the illuminated patterns of Roslin, the very art that once lit up Cilicia’s manuscripts and carried its spirit through centuries, and let them guide our own design. For other elements, we looked to the ships and ropes - symbols of strength, journeys and horizons; reminders of the sea that omce embraced Cilicia, shaping both its beauty and its destiny.
